Project Sister Dope is Worker’s Wellness Organization’s first project, and was founded in 2023 by President Colette Berube. Project Sister Dope aims to provide emergency funds for essential workers in the cannabis industry, such as budtenders, harvesters, delivery drivers, etc. In addition, Project Sister Dope fosters community amongst cannabis professionals through events and social media, as well as providing resources for those looking for employment in the cannabis industry.
TripTent organizes a safe, decompression area at events for people who may have over-consumed or those needing to step back from main social activities. TripTent also has developed a directory of altered-state -focused education with a harm reduction lens and a public health format for private or public settings and groups. All education materials and activities are lead by Co-Founder Pam Chotiswatdi, MPH.
PECC is a working community-based nonprofit in Long Beach, CA focused on providing life skills through peer-to-peer education & support, resources in systemic navigation, and business & organization framework and marketing. With a mission to promote community advocacy, social justice, and systemic change through community education, PECC unites and supports local organizations, neighbors, and businesses. They do so by creating space for peer-led education & niche support groups, productions & events, sharing education, and offering support.
Worker’s Wellness Organization launched its Worker’s Advocacy Program in December of 2024. Through this program, we aim to provide advice, mental health resources, compensation guidance, and personalized support, depending on each worker’s individual situation. Learn more.
Worker’s Rights Education Program
Worker’s Wellness Organization is launching a new Worker’s Rights Education Program in 2025. This program will consist of 12 virtual workshops each focusing on a different topic surrounding worker’s legal rights and wellness.
